Synopsis
The A&K M249 MKII is a high-performance SAW [squad automatic weapon] that is notorious for its perfect balance between affordability, performance, and reliability, with no compromise in between. The M249 MKII is a full size replica of the real steel M249, and is built using high quality materials outside and in to ensure durability, even during extended game play.
On the inside, the M249 MKII has been overhauled for 2011. It features a high performance gearbox that has been re-designed with an enhanced high-performance gear set and a new high-torque motor that has improved overall shooting smoothness and slightly increased rate of fire over comparable 2009 production run models (A&K did not manufacture products in 2010 due to the Airsoft manufacturer 'crack down' in Asia, so all current examples on the marketplace can be assumed to be 2009 production run models unless otherwise stated).
An integrated bipod comes standards users will find it very useful in times of varying Airsoft combat scenarios.
